PM Modi Lucknow Visit: PM Modi handed over keys of houses to 75 thousand poor, laid foundation stone for 75 development projects worth Rs 4737 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Lucknow today. He has handed over the keys of houses to 75 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the theme 'New Urban India' on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of the country's independence. PM Modi started the three-day program organized under the joint aegis of Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Urban Development Department, Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also participated in the program organized on the theme 'New Urban India'.

During the program, Integrated Command and Control Centers, Intelligent Traffic Management System and Urban Infrastructure at Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Moradabad and Ayodhya under Prime Minister's Smart City Mission and various parts of the state under AMRUT Mission. Inaugurated / laid the foundation stone of 75 development projects worth Rs 4,737 crore for drinking water and sewerage constructed by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam in cities. Apart from this, Modi also flagged off 75 smart electric buses for the districts of Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad and Varanasi.
