According to Raseel Gujral Ansal, “Coming from a family of art, of artists, I know how much dedication and courage it takes to present your artwork in front of not-so-loving eyes and sometimes not knowing how it will be received. I feel the artist are the most courageous people – they not only dare to dream but they are willing to share their dream with everybody regardless whether they are willing to dream along with them. So I’d like to congratulate Karuna on having the courage to dream and to present that dream.” Raseel Gujral also shared that the most important part of her father’s legacy was how he always encouraged the younger artists and was sensitive to the challenges a new artist faced and she said – “I think in being here today I think and I hope in my own humble way, I can continue that legacy of encouragement.”
