Reaffirming its unwavering commitment to India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and the country’s Net Zero targets for 2070 under leadership of PM
Narendra Modi Ji, energy Maharatna BPCL has unveiled a state-of-the-art 5MW Green Hydrogen Plant, its first and largest such plant, at Bina Refinery.
With a production capacity of 2.15 tonnes per day, the plant, commissioned in record time of 15 months, is expected to achieve an annual carbon emissions reduction of approximately 9,000 tonnes, significantly supporting India’s decarbonization goals.
It is equipped with two advanced electrolysers, each with a capacity of 500 Nm³/hr, & is engineered for optimum energy efficiency.
