Air travel will start soon from Sonbhadra's Myorpur airstrip

Now air travel from Sonbhadra is expected to start soon.Sonbhadra MP Pakori Lal Kol got this assurance during his meeting with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri.Member of Parliament Pakodi Lal Kol said that after meeting the Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation in New Delhi, he informed that Myrpur airstrip in Sonbhadra district is being developed under the Centre's regional connectivity scheme Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagarik Yojna.If this work is expedited, then the local people who have been forced to travel by air from Varanasi and other areas for a long time will get a big relief.A demand was also made to direct the Airport Authority of India to complete the construction work at the earliest.The MP apprised him that with the opening of this airport, industrial establishments of Uranchal area NCL, NTPC, Hindalco, Reliance, JP,Employees of Essar and other private sector and whose benefit will also be available to the common citizens of Singrauli district located in the neighborhood and the citizens here will not have to run to Varanasi and Jabalpur for air travel.Told that the objective of this scheme is to provide cheap air travel for the common citizens, in view of which a memorandum was also submitted demanding that the construction be completed at an accelerated pace.The Minister assured the MP that air travel from Mayorpur airstrip under Kendriya Udan Yojana would start soon and the ongoing construction work would be completed at a fast pace.In this regard, Chairman and Member Advisory Committee of Higher Technical Education and Development Committee Railway Board SK Gautam told that despite coal-power projects worth thousands of crores in remote tribal-dominated areas, railways.
