As a result of firm, decisive & visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi Ji, including decisions such as gas pricing formula reform, unified tariff regulations and creation of national gas grid, India is attracting FDI in the natural gas sector.

In a testament to our commitment to providing the people of Hassan with convenient & environmentally friendly energy options, I was very happy to dedicate 17 new CNG stations to the people of Hassan.

Bringing FDI from Japan in Indian gas sector, AG&P Pratham is working in development of 12 GAs covering 35 districts in India out of which they are developing 15 districts in the state of Karnataka alone covering approx. 55% area of Karnataka State.
 
Happy to note that they have made an investment of ₹4000 cr in India & have spent ₹200 crore in Hassan area alone. Additional investment of ₹15,000 cr by the AG&P in coming years will help create gas infrastructure to deliver PNG connections to over 1 crore households & setting up 1500 CNG stations in coming years in addition to generating huge local employment opportunities.
 
I advocate even stronger collaboration between India & Japan in the field of clean energy technology. Our shared commitment to innovation & sustainability will undoubtedly pave the way for groundbreaking developments in the energy sector.
