Deeply privileged to be present as Hon’ble President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu Ji handed over the 8th #SwachhSurvekshanAwards to the top performers at Bharat Mandapam today.

From the time PM Narendra Modi Ji declared his mission to make India Open Defecation Free in his first Independence Day speech from the ramparts of Red Fort in 2014 till date, SwachhBharatGov has taken the shape of a massive #JanAndolan 

This spirit was evident from the enthusiastic & impressive gathering at today’s event.

We were joined by CM Madhya Pradesh Dr Mohan Yadav Ji, CM Chhattisgarh Sh Vishnu dsai Ji, Dy CM Chhattisgarh Sh Arun Sao Ji, UD Ministers - Uttar Pradesh Sh Aksharma Bharat, Madhya Pradesh Sh Kailash Ji, Andhra Pradesh Sh Audimulap Suresh Ji & Uttarakhand Sh PremAggarwal Ji, & Brig (Dr) BD Mishra, along with representatives of various state governments & Urban Local Bodies, & my colleagues from MoHUA India
