Delivered the inaugural address at 18th National Convention of the UN Global Compact Network India on the extremely relevant theme of “Advancing Sustainable India” today.

Glad to see that the India network of UNGC is flourishing. It has mobilised private sector resources to make noteworthy progress in areas such as human rights, labour, environment, & anti-corruption, while also supporting broader goals such as the MDGs & SDGs within the Indian context.

It is a fact that, “If India succeeds, SDGs will succeed. And if the SDGs are to succeed, India has to succeed.”
