Sh Hardeep Singh Puri ji attends PM SVANidhi loan disbursement mega camp

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri is delighted to disburse PMSVANidhi loans to 10,000 beneficiaries of Delhi. This compassionate scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji to help street vendors & small businesses overcome the challenges faced during the pandemic is one of India’s fastest-growing micro-credit schemes which has led to unprecedented financial inclusion & digital literacy in the true spirit of Sarvodaya through Antyodaya. This scheme has extended more than 80.42 lakh loans to 60.94 lakh street vendors amounting to ₹10,678 cr by facilitating collateral-free first working capital loans up to ₹10,000 in the first tranche, & then ₹20,000 & ₹50,000 in the second & third tranches respectively with #ModiKiGuarantee. About 34.70 lakh street vendors are digitally active because of the mission’s intervention. In all, more than 176.41 crore digital transactions amounting to over ₹2.04 lakh cr have been recorded. In Delhi, we have received 3.05 lakh loan applications from street vendors till 14 Feb 2024. 2.2 lakh of these applications have been sanctioned by banks & 1.9 lakh loans worth ₹221 cr have already been disbursed, With today’s 10,000 loans, a milestone 2 lakh loans have now been disbursed in Delhi.
