The Hindu | MRPL wins energy technology awards

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has been conferred with two prestigious awards at the 25th Energy Technology meet held at Sahara Star hotel, Mumbai today on Thursday, September 15.

These awards were handed over to M Venkatesh, MD, MRPL and Nandakumar V, GGM and Sudhir Pai M, CGM by Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameshwar Teli (MOS MOPNG) in the presence of dignitaries and more than thousand delegates from all the PSUs and private petroleum refineries and various stakeholders, a MRPL release said.

MRPL won the SAKSHAM Award 2019-20 for best furnace efficiency and also the Best Innovation in Refinery for 2021-22 at the meet. 

The 25th edition of Energy Technology Meet being was hosted by CHT (Centre for High Technology) of the ministry of petroleum and natural gas and co-hosted by HPCL, Mumbai from September 15 to 17, 2022, the release added.
