The Ujjwala Scheme's Impact on LPG Distribution in India Under PM Modi Ji’s Leadership

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, significant strides have been made in the distribution of LPG connections. LPG wasn't available until the 1950s, and by 2014, only 14 crore connections were given. LPG cylinders were not available in rural India. Fast forward to today, under #UjjwalaScheme, in particular, has played a pivotal role, with over 10 crore connections already provided to women. Amidst pandemic challenges, three free cylinders were provided, with subsidies making cylinders available for as low as ₹503. This isn't just about economic growth; it's about ensuring benefits reach those who need them most.
