Delighted to share that under Ujjwala, a scheme benefiting economically weaker sections and below poverty line citizens, the total connections have soared to 9.6 crore. During the COVID pandemic, we provided three free cylinders to all beneficiaries. LPG consumption has surged from 14 crore to 32 crore since 2014, with Ujjwala consumers now using 3.7 cylinders on average. Additionally, a 200 rupees subsidy per beneficiary is further supporting our brothers and sisters in need.
