The 8 Geographic Areas announced today will cover 103 districts covering 6 North East States Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim & Mizoram & 2 Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

With this Entire Mainland India has now been covered for development of PNG Connections & CNG Stations.

Promotion of natural gas is part of PM Narendra Modi Ji’s vision to increase the share of gas in the India’s energy basket from ~6% to 15% by 2030 & transform India into a Gas-Based Economy with investment opportunity of USD 67 Billion.
